Shannon Jones

Our rally & obedience expert!

Shannon has been involved in Dog Sports for over 14 years.

She lives with her boyfriend Brett & 5 beautiful canine partners including recently inherited Bonnie & Pigey & trials with all of them. She has put a variety of Titles on all her dogs including agility, rally, obedience, carting, herding, barn hunt & sent work. Her All American Uggie Bug Jones has over 200 Titles Including being the first AKC Canine Partner to achieve the Rally Master (RM) Title & at the grand age of 15 is still out there trialing.

Not only is Shannon a walking encyclopedia for most all dog sports she is also a licensed Judge for AKC Rally, C-WAGS all levels, WCRL Rally & CDSP Obedience. She teaches in the Cary & Chapel Hill area.

Julie is our go to for Barn Hunt! She also trains sent work & water sports.

She breeds lovely Portuguse Waterdogs & lives with several of her own.

She trials in several dog sports including barn hunt, agility, rally, obedience, water sports & conformation . Reilly is the first PWD in the country to achieve RATCHX in barn hunt. She is also very active in the yearly PWD Nationals.

Julie teaches at Teamworks in Youngsville NC & Middle Tree Farms in Pittsboro NC.

Congratulations Clare on becoming an AHBA Judge!

For all things herding!

Clare owns & lives on her working farm, Not Quite Right Farm where they “do things a little differently……”

She breeds beautiful intelligent working line Shetland Sheepdogs & lives with several of these wonderful dogs along with a menagerie of other wonderful animals.

Just like our other instructors Clare trials in several dog sports including both AHBA & AKC herding, rally, obedience, coach dog & conformation just to name a few.

She trains both the client & the dog in herding & says she is willing to take on most any breed of dog if they show an inclination for herding. She is also willing to handle client’s dogs in herding trials & has taken the country’s only Doberman Ruger all the way to his AHBA Championship,
